Once retirees dominated College Park in the 1970’s but no longer has it that connotation. Today’s new College Park has still the 80 year old commercial district along Edgewater Drive and houses an abundance of mom and pop shops and eateries. The streets are still quite and the homes are charming and well kept. There is a growers market held in Albert Park on Thursday eves October to May. These days more mixed use condominiums, office and retail development are going up but the residents are holding on to the charm as much as possible.
